Who we are
Boardroom Numbers is a trading name of Ozan Matur, Istanbul, Türkiye, who is the controller of your personal data. Contact: hello@boardroomnumbers.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for the free course or the waitlist, we collect your first name and email address. Your email address is needed to send the course; your first name lets us greet you. Our email provider also records whether you open emails and click links, so we can see which lessons help. Our web host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
Why we use it
- To send you the course you signed up for.
- To send occasional finance lessons and news about our paid courses, including the Course 1 waitlist.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you sign up and confirm your email. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. Server logs rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Who processes it for us
- Kit (kit.com) stores subscriber details and sends our emails (USA).
- Netlify hosts this website (USA).
- Google Workspace runs our email inbox, if you write to us.
When we start selling courses, a payment provider acting as the seller (merchant of record) will handle checkout under its own privacy notice, and we'll name it here. We never sell your details. Transfers outside the EU, UK and Türkiye rely on these providers' standard contractual clauses or, where available, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you right away and delete your details within 12 months, or sooner on request. Kit may keep a record that your address unsubscribed, so you aren't emailed again by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can stop marketing emails at any time by unsubscribing. Email hello@boardroomnumbers.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to a data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK, the authority in your EU country, or the KVKK in Türkiye.
California residents
We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. Our fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
