Who we are

Boardroom Numbers is a trading name of Ozan Matur, Istanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you buy or use our courses, the member area at members.boardroomnumbers.com and the course chat. Questions: hello@boardroomnumbers.com.

Buying a course

Our courses are sold through Gumroad, which acts as the seller (merchant of record). Gumroad takes your payment, works out and charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt; its own terms apply to the checkout. Prices are in US dollars.

What you get

• The course: the video lessons, subtitles, one-page summaries and Excel workbooks, on Gumroad. You keep access for as long as we offer the course. If we ever retire it, we'll email you at least 60 days before, so you can download your files.
• Member features, for 12 months from purchase: the module quizzes, the certificate and the Statement Coach in the member area. Sign in with the email you bought with. Once issued, your certificate stays valid.

Your licence

Each purchase is for one person. You may watch the lessons and use the workbooks and summaries for your own learning and your own work. Please don't share your access, or copy, resell or publish the videos or files. A team pack covers the number of people stated when you buy it. The course content belongs to Ozan Matur.

Refunds

If the course isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase and you'll get your money back, no questions asked. See our refund policy. The certificate unlocks after the 7-day refund window; once it has been issued, the course can't be refunded. A refund or reversed payment ends your access to the course and the member features, and withdraws any certificate. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

The Statement Coach

• It gives an educational review of financial statements you upload, written by an AI model, and answers follow-up questions. It can make mistakes, so check anything important with your finance team.
• Only upload statements you're allowed to share. Don't upload confidential information you aren't permitted to disclose, or personal data about individuals.
• We don't store your uploads. They're sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the review; see our privacy notice.
• Fair use: 5 reviews and 100 follow-up questions a month. We may pause access if it's misused.

The course chat

The chat on our website answers questions about our courses using an AI model. It can be wrong; if something matters, email us.

Education, not advice

Our courses and tools are for education only. They aren't financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice. Companies in our examples, such as Halvard Coffee Systems and Aurelia Hotels, are fictional.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the courses accurate and the member area running, but we can't promise they'll always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes don't reduce what you've already paid for. These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection the consumer law of your own country gives you.
